I was out and about this past weekend to see if I could find a few more locations for the Borrego Modern Tour in April. It is always amazing to me how many people (especially in Borrego) don’t realize how cool their homes are.

I actually saw a guy who was out in front of his house. I was riding buy my bike and stopped and told him how neat his house was…..I actually think he thought I was pulling his leg. He responded by saying “I know it’s really old…but it is just my second house”

The truth is that his house is fantastic. I am going to make a point of telling people how cool their old houses are…..people should take a look around; 1950s desert architecture sure stands up pretty well to 2009 version.
